what will I see at the fair
Art books and prints can be handmade, off-set printed, letter pressed, screen printed, photocopied or risographed. Vendors may have traditional books, magazines, journals, zines, stickers, posters with content that ranges across art and literary media including fiction, poetry, photography, drawing and illustration. Art book fairs are a great opportunity to support small presses and publishers, independent businesses, and individual artists.
21c Chicago is located at 55 E. Ontario, one block west of the Mag Mile in the River North neighborhood. The Redline Grand stop is 2 blocks away and there are many bus routes. There is metered street parking in the immediate area, an hourly parking lot at Ohio and Wabash, and we offer a $20 valet each day of the event in front of the hotel.

how to pay for stuff
The Fair is free and open to the public, but our vendors would love it you bought the cool stuff they brought. Each vendor will have their own method of accepting payment for their goods. Most will accept credit/debit cards, but cash is a safe bet and there is an ATM in the building.
We love your pets at 21c Chicago. We are a pet-friendly hotel. But please bear in mind that the Fair can get very crowded, and your pet may not appreciate the book-loving crowds as much as we do.

The Fair is on the 2nd floor of the hotel, accessible via an elevator on the first floor or via a staircase near the front desk. There is a single, all-gender bathroom on the 2nd floor in addition to those marked M and W. Please reach out to us if you have specific accessibility questions.
