Staple + Stitch is an art book and print fair. A celebration and engagement with art, text, print, and paper hosted at 21c Museum Hotel Chicago. Exhibitors include arts publishers, small and independent presses, book artists, zine makers, and printmakers across the 2nd-floor spaces of the 21c Chicago. Tandem programming includes book signings, workshops, and demonstrations open to all ages.

The three-day fair is free and open to the public with an emphasis on publications, artist books, zines, and other print-related materials.

Staple + Stitch is now accepting vendor applications for the 2024 event, inviting independent artists, publishers, and small presses to showcase their work.

Tables are $125 for a half-table (3’x3’) and $250 for a full table (6’x3’). Applications are due August 15, 2024.

Jennifer Murray is an artist, educator, book and paper lover who lives and works in Chicago. As the current Museum Manager at 21c Chicago, she collaborates with artists and arts organizations to create diverse exhibitions and programming. She is the former executive director of Filter Photo, a nonprofit festival, exhibition, and educational space where she organized programming for Filter Photo Festival and directed their exhibition program for eight years. She was an Instructor of Photography at Loyola University Chicago for fifteen years and consults and mentors artists on project development and exhibition preparation.  She received an MFA in photography from Columbia College Chicago.
